Dr Farah Khaliq MD, PhD is presently
working as Director Professor, Department of Physiology at University
College of Medical Sciences (Delhi University), Delhi.
She has more than 20 years of experience in teaching and research. She
is an Associate Editor of Indian
Journal of Physiology and Pharmacology, has many publications in
International and national journals and has co-authored books. She has
been awarded twice for her research work including Prof RC Shukla Oration award
for best research work in Cardiovascular Physiology. She has immense
interest in teaching and tries innovative methods for the benefit of
her students. Dr Farah is member of various administrative committees at
UCMS and Faculty of Medical Sciences, Delhi University. She is
presently a member of Institutional Ethics Committee for Human Research
at UCMS. She is reviewer of teaching learning modules, projects and
national and international journals. She is a resource person for NBE
and ICMR. She is member of board of studies and
panel of experts at various medical colleges of India.
